On June 20, 2007, opening ceremony of “Technical Training of Disabled People” was held in the Science and Technology Park of Xuping Rabbit Industry, with participants including Mr. Ou, the director general of Chengdu Disabled Federation; Governor He of Dayi county government; Mr. Luo, the county disabled federation, Chairman Ren Xuping; some leaders from the disabled federations of Qingbai District, Lingquanyi District, Wenjiang District, Chenghua District and Dujiangyan city; representatives of the first trainees and people from different media companies.
It was hoped the disabled people would give up self-humiliation but guild up self-confidence, self-esteem, self-relies and self-striving, and through the training the trainees could find a project of short time and fast effect to realize a sustainable livelihood and development.
Mr. Ou sent sincere words and earnest wishes to the trainees that they were hoped to cherish the opportunity, study hard and strive to get rid of poverty and get rich in production development.
